My name is Caitie, I'm 23 and trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I love food! I'm all about getting healthy and not about depriving my body of yummy things. The goal isn't less calories, it's smarter calories. Nutrient dense food that follows guidelines illustrated in Deep Nutrition and Food Rules.

This blog is to help me get to the point where I'm confident and feeling good! I hope to make some friends along the way. We're stronger together!

I also want to address that I don't support eating disorders. They're not the answer, they're keeping you from happiness. I have struggled with cutting, bulimia and anorexia in the past and know this first hand. I will help you stop if you need help, advice, or just someone to vent to but I will not support the habit.

As a student, I’m always looking to save money.  Though most of these aren’t too much of a surprise for me.  It’s true though, buying ingredients instead of assembled food, more veggies than meats, and shopping mainly the perimeter of the grocery store not only helps out your wallet, but also your health!!
